Checkers

A classic checkers game built with Python and Pygame, featuring an intelligent AI opponent.

The game implements the Minimax algorithm with alpha-beta pruning for the AI opponent. This algorithm evaluates all possible future game states to make optimal moves.

This was one of my first AI Gamedev Project before even vibecoding was a thing.
